In 2023, Aquatech Offshore was requested by ECE Offshore to assist in the replacement of nine inner array cables at the Luchterduinen Offshore Wind Farm. Although the full scope was not completed that year, Aquatech Offshore successfully and safely carried out 10 of the 18 planned cable and CPS removals within the scheduled timeframe. Our end client, Eneco, expressed their appreciation by recommending Aquatech Offshore for the candidate selected to complete the remaining cables.

Specialized subsea services by Aquatech Offshore:

• Selection and mobilization of a suitable DSV
• Engineering solutions to cut and remove 60 meters of cable and the CPS
• Execution of cable and CPS removals at 10 locations
• Performing seabed reactivation with an orange peel grab
• Subsea intervention support for non-conformities via the DSV
• Installation of filter units to protect unburied cables
